More injury woes...

It has been confirmed, as expected, that Rio Ferdinand is definitely out of this years finals. Michael Dawson has been re-called and Steven Gerrard will captain England during the tournament.

There have also been other injury woes with Chelsea's Mikel out with a knee injury, joining fellow teammates Michael Ballack and Michael Essien.

Also US player, Joey Altidore is an injury doubt after being taken to hospital for a scan on his right ankle.

Not great news as 6 days remain...
